I believe that communities require commitment. To be part of a community means to commit to its wellbeing, as you would your own. If you choose to engage:
Engage in good faith
Be sincere in your inquiries, respectful in your commentary and engage in good faith discussion.
When it doubt, leave it out
Like a decaying slice of pizza stuck to the cardboard in your recycle bin, insults and trolling ruins things for everyone, so just don’t.
Say Less
This isn’t a facebook meme. It’s ok to say nothing and move along. I encourage substantive comments that encourage respectful discussion.
Do not perceive me (or anyone else)
Privacy is paramount. Do not reveal private information about anyone, ever. In fact, destroy this after you read it.
Remember you are a person
And then remember everyone else are people as well. Behave accordingly.
